i appreciate
I'm gonna share a short phrase.
Usually, meaningful words or sentences won't be so easily erased from my mind.
Or perhaps, it's long-lasting. It's permanently stored in my mind.

"Don't be thrifty for others (friends & family). You can be thrifty for yourself."

Dad engraved this sentence in my mind. He told me in Chinese. I'm deeply touched by this. Because, that is the way dad brought us up. He is always spending on others. He will help others in the way that some pakcik and makcik in the stalls without customers. That is when dad gives a lending hand. He becomes their customer. And, that is how he said he can assist others and at the same time he feels happy.

That is when he feels life is contented.
