splendid christmas trip..
Just ended almost an hour chat with mum and dad in our bedroom. Let dad have a look at sis' 4 days' trip photos as well as to see the photos we have taken in kL with mum during our 4 days trip.
~~
21st December
We left Kluang to KL around 9 something in the morning. I drove all the way to Midvalley. We checked into Cititel before we met up with Raymond who was waiting for us in Midvalley. We had our dinner at CoMo; which is the Vietnam restaurant I've mentioned before. Wanna let Mum enjoy different kinds of delicacies. Hehe. After the lunch, off we went for our shopping spree! Of course.. Mum was kinda busy eyeing for cny clothes and shoes.. same for sis. But it's no hurry for me. Coz I'll have plenty of time shopping for them soon..

We went out for dinner at Strawberry Fields. Which is the frequent hangout place for me and Raymond. An affordable cafe, which serves delicious food!! *jt:i brought u there bfore oh!* After that, Raymond drove us to The Curve, Ikano Power Centre and Ikea which are at the same location. We entered a clothing outlet and spent almost 2 hours there! So 'amazing'! Hehe..

22nd December
After buffet breakfast, we packed our luggages and checked out of the hotel around 10am. That's rather a bit early. But, we have no choice, because I gonna meet up with Raymond and we'll go to Sunway Pyramid with mum and sis~ I know girls love shopping. We had our lunch at BBQ plaza, which is a Thai steamboat style restaurant. It wasn't too expensive. I ate quite a lot thou. Hehe.. Then, we continued shopping and Raymond gotta drive back to Segamat then. Left us continuing shopping before we started driving around 5pm to Klang, my aunt's house.

23rd December
Woke up around 9 something. Ate breakfast and listen to aunt and mum's chatting. When it's almost noontime, we prepared ourselves to join them for lunch. We went to Dragon-i in AEON Bukit Tinggi, which the lunch was treated by our generous uncle. It was really tasty. I lurve the 'xiao long bao" and the mango dessert. After the lunch, we shopped a while after we said 'goodbye' to them. I drove to Damansara, Joanne's house and chatted a short while with her. She gave us lots of Xmas gifts. So happy!!! Hehe. Around 5pm, I started to drive mum and sis to Banting. It's my uncle house. It's been about 6 years since we went there. Uncle recently opened a cafe in Nilai. So, mum wanna go and have a look. After we reached Banting, uncle said it's time I needed a rest. And so, he used his new Toyota Camry and drove us to his shop in Nilai, where it's near INTI college. His cafe serves affordable meals and was never lacked of customers. We left his cafe around 12am and went back to his house for a night.

24th December
Finally, our trip marked a full stop when I started to drive back to Kluang after breakfast. We reached Kluang around 1 something.
It was a nice journey, but tiring at times. Because I'm the chauffeur. Hehe. But, I enjoy driving as every destination that we reached marks a different story and fills our hearts with the sense of kinship and friendship, that must be cherished every second in our lives.

25th December
We are back at home earlier because me and my sis decided that we celebrate simple Xmas celebration at home. Thus, I came up with an idea to organize a steamboat feast! Well, aunt said she can have it at her house. So, we went early and helped her with all the cutting of vegies and seafood stuffs before we started sumptuous lunch around noontime. It was a harmonious feeling as steamboat needs time to boil and cook while the elderly can chat while they waited for the food~

And.... that were the days while I was away, unpurposely abandoning my blog for few days. =)
Hope all of us had fun till the fullest during seasons of greetings.. Merry Belated Xmas to all!!

It's awesome!
I managed to cook bubur cha cha for my family.. including aunts and cousins.
Feeling so proud of myself, haha. Coz all this while I thought bubur cha cha is the toughest dessert to prepare compared with ginkgo barley etc.
Went out with mum this morning, apart from settling things at banks, she helped me to buy santan. That's the primary ingredients to make a delicous bubur cha cha.
Others such as yams and sweet potatoes, we have bought them few days ago.
Mum said it's not easy to buy nice yam.. more importantly, tasty ones.
So, I first started cooking the large sized sago beans and followed by boiling yams and sweet potatoes in the afternoon. Separately in 2pots, until they are soft.
The last step is to boil the coconut milk before adding all of the ingredients into the milk.
DONE.. da da da.. that's it. My delicious bubur cha cha.. I give it 4-star. Hehe..

Been addicted to crime and murder investigation HK drama lately.
Simply have no time to rest even just for a while.
Series of new and exciting cases in the HK drama made me so anxious of catching each episode eagerly. Oh ya, went for facial treatment this evening..
Yesterday was a nice one. Was also busy for the whole day. Meeting friends, JT and Christine. Been chatting for the whole 1 and half hour gathering. It's really been about a year since I met Christine up *which was the last CNY, about 11 months ago, brought Raymond to meet them up at her house*..
In a glimpse... everything changed so rapidly that even us, humans are so tough to meet up not even more than twice in a year. She is still the same as usual. We talked about our past. Our sixth form when we used to sit just nearby each other, me at the behind row. The days in the sixth form equals to almost 3 years ago. Speaking of this, really trigger us to think that we're getting older and older. *sob* JT even mentioned that she'd rather choose to go back to form6, the time we used to play hard & study smart. Too bad we cannot rewind back to the wonderful upper secondary moments. Soon after this sentence blurted from her mouth, I had this sudden phrase as we used to see or read..
Do cherish all the time, whether it's happy or sad. Every single second is a treasure if we treat it as precious as gems.

Yesterday was my godmum's birthday. She is also my aunt. That day grandma had even prepared nice meal for all of us. But they were for the employees. Yesterday was meant for our own family members. So, my cousins, aunts, uncles, niece and little nephew were present, too. It had been a long time since I ever had such gathering with 'em. Coz I'm always in KL when they are having big feast here. It is such a pleasurable one indeed. A so-called reunion for us all.
We had two big round tables with 11 people each, a total of RM400++ per table. *my sis rated it as expensive* But dad somehow has different view. He said it doesn't matter how much, coz the meaning of the feast is more significant than anything else. *remarkable comment!*

Just came back home half an hour ago. Well, I went to see my sis off for her 4-days trip which included of Penang, Bkt Tinggi, Cameron and KL. Wow. It sounds nice and refreshing one to me. Coz I usually thought they will choose Genting as the primary option. Luckily, they didn't. Dad and mum tagged along too. But mum drove. Haha. Dad always wanna be the passenger more than the chauffeur. The bus started to drive off at 10.30pm sharp, after we managed to be there for close to 20 minutes. My parents are the most anxious one. I guess all of the parents there had the same feelings too. Dad managed to bump into his old friend a.k.a my savior.

He was the uncle who saved me from being a handicapped when I was young. Dad said I sat on the unbalanced table and fell down when I was around 4 years old.*but I have blank memory 'bout that* The uncle, was the nurse then who managed prevent me from suffering a left-fractured arm. That time dad thought it was helpless as the lower part of the arm ain't has the energy to move at all. It was just like a swing, moving by itself. Completely numb. Luckily, this uncle was there! He is my savior. That is how dad used to tell me until now.

The uncle mentioned here is Ho Wentak's dad. His younger sister happened to be my sis' friend, joining the trip now. Isn't it a small world after all? I always say, it's really a tiny world. And, Mr.Loh, Convent's add maths teacher was there to send her daughter off too. My sis' friend again. =) All parents are the same. Hopefully they can reach Penang safely..

Prayin' for them.. God bless 'em..

These few days when I'm all alone, quietly lying down somewhere in the house..
The image of HIM keep appearing on my mind.
I still remember HE was the first boy I had a strong feelings for.
That was the time when I was tuitioning at PTK during Standard 5.
HE was the guy who attracted and yet, at the same time distracted me.
To me, HE was a talent then.
He was smart.
HE was good-looking.
HE was indeed a rare species then.
I've been trying to locate HIS whereabouts thru friend locators such as Facebook or Friendster, BUT to no avail. I've failed to find such a person by the name E.N.Y.J in short.
I still remember that was the time when I fell for HIM in which my primary good friend also loves HIM too.
It is now a DREAM. A way to remember the days at PTK, same class with HIM.
I will never forget the wonderful days when I used to peep at him from faraway, not letting him to know I was looking at him, silently.

Speaking of LO.v.E never failed to make us relate it with relationships, especially girl and boy.
But, have we ever stop and ponder what it actually means?

From the search in Wikipedia (an Internet dictionary), LOVE is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection, usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person.
It may not be as easy as ABC but more than that.
It's been a long time since I ever written such sentimental blog. I had the inspiration to write it when I was told of a real story by my dad yesterday.
There was a couple who have met with a terrible accident. It sounded as a very serious one, as told by my dad. I do not know of the date when it occured. As far as I know, the accident had changed the lives of the couple. The girl might have left the guy who later became crippled or perhaps, the girl had departed from this world. I do not know the detail. The guy was left all alone. Without anyone to care for him. He is left alone to fed himself, to carry on his life.

One day, my dad was about to leave the factory when this guy, with walking difficulty and had difficulty in speaking out even short sentences, approached my dad. He looked as if he was a beggar, homeless person. With him was the only piece of extracted newspaper article, which had written the news of an accident and that the victim is him and his girlfriend. He brought it with him as a prove that he is not anyone who tries to cheat others' money. With his mouth shaking as if the untoward incident has badly affected his nerves in the brain, he gently asked my dad for donation. He carries no evil at heart. He is young and pitiful.

My dad deeply sympatized him and eventually gave him a RM5 note without suspecting him. The guy repeatedly thanked dad and was very grateful with the money which may mean a little to us but huge enough for him to feed himself for couple of days.

Dad came home, looking down and told us the story of the guy. He said he was very sad after looking at the guy. My mood was also affected by the story of this guy.
I would wonder what will I feel when it was me whom he wants to approach. Would I just cry in front of him? I never know.
Love for someone is endless.
Love for someone is regardless their background, age, gender or religion.
Not only towards your loved ones, but also towards persons who might be in need and your hands pulling them from the dark places will instantaneously make them feel that the world is still worth living for, who are waiting to see hope in life.

Speaking of her sometimes makes our whole family laugh, angry, fed-up or even disappointed.
Her existence somehow makes our whole family tensed up every now and then.
She loves to cook and sew.
She loves the pleasure of doing them in exchange for the children's smile.
She loves to make everyone at home feel at ease for her great dishes.
She loves to make her children feel at comfort with who she is.
She is at times the queen at home and sometimes the so-called pampered child.
She makes us worried frequently but she cheered up the house more frequent.
She wants the best for the Lee family.
She prays hard and sleeps less everyday.
She gets tired easily but never surrendered to her tiredness.
She makes the house feel crowded and merrier.
She does not want to be treated as the eldest.
She never failed to admit for being too old for doing all of 'em.

Had the sudden urge of writing something about granny. Today is a big day for my aunt a.k.a her daughter. A big day represents the birthday of any of granny's children regardless they are male or female. She treats them equally the same. My granny is a person who can be called the 'superwoman' in my house. The age does not mean anything to her as she can still manage to do a lot of things despite her age of 84 at the moment. It is really rare for such an elderly to be so energetic at such age. Thank God for the blessings You shower on her.

Granny always cook sumptuous meals for the whole family and also my dad's employees at the factory right behind our house. Today is my aunt's birthday, so to continue our house' past traditions, granny will prepare nice dishes for ALL of us. She had bought lots of vegies and chicken since few days ago and starting to marinate the chicken on Sunday. She is a very eager person. She wants to ensure that all of the food are adequate today so she had marinated up to 6kg chicken drumsticks+wings. She even did 'yong tau hu' and made satay sauce to match with the boiled eggs. Not just that, she even fried vermicelli and 'mi hun' to replace the plain rice.

She loves cooking! Although she gets tired easily, but she never complained. She simply enjoys the crowd when all of us are chatting and eating all along. She loves us to make the house a REAL home. And, there's a bad habit of hers. She loves yelling "Is it enough for the chicken, this and that..?" In her mind, the food laid on the table are never enough for us. She always asked us to eat more and will cook more if ain't enough. Also, she loves "tapao-ing" a.k.a packing up the food for her children/grandchildren who might not be able to join the big feast. She does not want to see any of us straving. Oh ya. She has the habit of picking up the phone and make a call to her son if she haven't seen him withing half an hour after the food is ready. She just want to see all of us eating at the round table which represents 'reunion'.

And, that's my beloved 84-year-old granny. She is getting older and currently has hearing difficulties. And that is why we tend to shout more towards her. This will aid her in listening to what we say. Time is passing by each day. Years go by just like the strike of lightning. Without noticing, she has already been doing all the cooking and sewing for decades. T

This is when CNY comes every year, I do not feel too much of anticipation. I hated to say that I prefer time to halt at certain times; time does not tickle by, age does not increase, life remains the same.

Yesterday was a unique one compared to other days I was at home. Because I and my sis managed to do something different from our normal activities such as watching tv, napping and eating.

First in the morning, we painted our house.. just a small part of it. So, we used up less than 1 hour to complete the wall. As CNY is approaching.. so we decided to tidy up our room as well..

In addition, her friend had asked assistance from her to collect some new gifts for the orphanage - a Xmas activity from a club. So, we happened to have few new soft toys, pencil cases, handphone holders and wallets which made up a total of 16 small gifts for the orphans.
We wrapped those things with the extra wrapping papers we have got it at home. =) Both of us felt so delighted and can sense the extra warming season especially it is the season of caring and giving. It is always best if we are able to donate some of our goodies and share with the children.
Here are some random pictures we've taken..

I just came back from Malacca yesterday evening. Three of us, I, JooTin and SooFei went for 2 days 1 night trip to Malacca. A way to enhance friendship as well as a way to relax ourselves after hectic schedules from work or studies. (too bad SN wasn't able to join us)

We departed from Kluang on Saturday morning after our breakfast at Air Hitam with JooTin around 10.30am. Guess what? Girls are always the noisiest. Along our journey to the destination, we talked non-stop!! There is not a single silence in the car. Imagine it.. We reached Malacca at noontime which is earlier than we expected. (because the time passed so fast when we were so busy chatting)

We checked into the hotel before we started strolling at the Malacca Portuguese-square. There have been a lot of changes since I last went with Raymond. Time really flies so fast that Malacca has become such a famous tourist attraction now ever since it has been declared as the World Heritage Sites. We snapped a lot of photos as well as ate a lot goodie delicacies, especially when we were so into Nyonya kueh and the dishes. (as a result of the recent TV programmes and dramas in Singapore depict lives of Peranakan) Besides, we also ate Chicken Rice Ball, Nyonya asam laksa, cendol and bought lots of nyonya kueh back for our families.

JooTin is the most greedy person! Haha. She ate really a lot compared to me and SooFei. This is due to her loving for food.. particularly those unique ones. And that makes me have the chance to grab some from her when she was the one paying money. Haha.. Thanks JT!!! =P

I love the time when 3 of us were so narcissis in taking self-photo. I guess that is what that makes us stay so close together. We love taking photos!!! Each of us has different ideas as in which angle and direction to take the nicest photo. And I'm sure that I'm the best photographer among them. (that's what I think la) Haha.. Both of the must thank me for the nice photos I took for them. JT was also a good one, too. But, SF, you have to learn more from us. Blek...

We happened to bump into Shah Rukh Khan as he was there for the Datukship award. He was passing Jonker Street when 3 of us were strolling. But, he only waved his hand at the window pane. So, we did not have the chance to see his face at all. (what a pity) As that was a Saturday, so Jonker Street is open at night! We spent our night there from 9 sumting untill 12am! The street was heavily crowded because Monday is a public holiday. Many tourists from Singapore took the chance to go there for the famous Nyonya thingy.

That night, we continued chatting, talking about many of our secondary friends and got to know a lot of surprising stories from JT about many of them. It was a nice one as 3 of us lying on the bed and JT also told us some of her personal stories. We fell asleep around 2 something.

Sunday's events were packed with eating Asam Laksa as our breakfast, visiting the Eye On Malaysia, buying some goodies from Tan Tian Hock followed by snapping photos by the nicely developed Malacca River. Finally we ended our trip when we started driving back from Malacca around 4pm and reach home around 6pm.

Just wanna say: Thanks to SooFei and JooTin for the wonderful memories...!!! I will never forget our near to 10 years of friendship... Love you...

The first time I saw this movie advertisement was in the newspapers. The title and the dog picture immediately captured my attention. I had the sudden eagerness to want to watch it when I finished my exams. And, so, I did not managed to fulfill my wish. It was pre-determined that I must watch it!
As I heard from my college friends that it is a very touching movie depicting a young girl's life story with a dog, from her childhood till her working age.
And so that day I was with the intention to buy BOLT movie from Lim music. But they do not have it and I happened to see that "10 promises to my dog" dvd displayed by the counter. So I bought it without hesitation.
I watched it just now. And my eyes are all swollen and turned a bit reddish as the outcome of the heart-touching Japanese movie. I cried a lot especially at the end of the movie. Such an embarassing one as my sis appeared to be able to hold on her tears. But NOT for me..

I want to give it a 5-***** rating!!! It is really a good one...!!!

This is specially written for SN. Haha.. I guess you might not feel any surprise as the photo already caught your attention and you know why is it related to you for sure! Hehe. This morning, I drove mum out. And, I halted the car by the side of row of shophouses, and when I turned my head around, there was a new fashion outlet called NaNa. I felt that it was such a coincidence because we used to called you nana most of the time, when we loved to~

And that is why, I'm here showing you, your SHOP! Such a cute one isn't it? You might wanna know where is it located. Well, well... I shan't tell you now. You search for it yourself. This is more fun.. hehe.. but, for surely it is in Kluang.

Finally, sis had finished her stpm.. wat an ordeal for those students.. -terribly long weeks of terror isnt it?
Haha.. Although I had experienced it before, but I still regard that as the most terrible weeks of exams.
Thank God... she finally made it to the end... She will gonna have long periods of holidays.. to play, play and play!
So, this afternoon, I went out with her.. coz it's been so long since we ever went out. 3 months perhaps! To shop around at K-Parade. And, we went for a spin near the in-process renovation of the Kluang Mall. Been looking forward to the new mall opening.
Hope that it will be a new place for hangouts next year around.
Kluang really has become so developed. Many things have changed.
A small town then.. A crowded town now.

Did you take a look at the sky just now? It was such a warmth scene when I was told by my sis to gaze at it around 8pm just now. There were 2 stars and the moon at the bottom. To round up, the 3 items can be seen as both the eyes and a mouth of a person. It was so rare.

After that, I told dad about it and he went and have a look. His reaction was beyond my expectation. As he was so excited, smiling and anxiously phone some of our relatives to look at the sky! That was cute right? He had made more than 5 phone calls at one shot! And, mum phoned my granny in Seremban. They said they saw it earlier than us! Haha.. *we're really beneath the same sky* However, my cousin sis wasn't that lucky. She said JB was raining, so she can't have a look at it. *Too bad* (She asked me to email her the pics taken.)

And, granny was even exaggerated! She even said it was an auspicious signal to us who were able to look at it. She eventually made a phone call to the temple she used to go and asked the people there, what was the meaning of the star signs arranged in the sky. The person there said it was a good sign indeed, especially when we can look at it right above, front of our residential. To be frank, I do not believe it such things. But dad said, after all, granny felt happy to hear that. That was not bad after all.. =)

I was still smiling when I think of the first second I look at the moon and stars.

They were so beautiful...

Yesterday QH smsed me. Stating that she would be in Kluang till Tuesday, so prompted for a short gathering with others - SE , Chan and SP.
Of course I agreed for that.. long time never seen them already.
Hanging out for a while to update each of our latest stories would definitely be a memorable one.

We went to Pizza Hut. And was almost 9.30pm when we reached there and we left after an hour. Coz it would be close at 11pm as told by SP.
It was a nice one. At first, I felt a bit numb and embarassed when I first got onto QH's car as she went and fetched me. But eventually, everything turned out as perfect as I wished. We were just like the past, love eating and teasing each other.

Thanks QH, for taking the initiative to organize such gathering! It was fun, truly.
And, I was soooo full after eating that 3/4 bowl of garden salad..
