And there is this news..
Finally... here it is
China approves food safety law - state media.
I happened to read this headline at the Yahoo! homepage.
It's nothing worth celebrating for. (personal opinion)
On my personality view, humans love find solutions only when they commit repeated mistakes.
"Prevention is better than cure".
How can this slogan always be in use? What is the objective of this?....

Time is of the greatest essence in life, particularly when we're meeting diverged roads.
A choice needed to be verified and persistance is critically in need.
Life isn't all about fun.
Life is about achievements.
Life is about meeting self-objectives.
Time is running immensely fast.
Seemingly, making us lesser time to figure out what exactly we are aiming for.
Give me some guidance.
Some powerful advices are needed to sort out the conflicting thoughts.
Workforce environment and office politics begin arousing my minds.
The completely strange world that is so unfamiliar.
What really suits me?
Mailbox are bombarded by uncountable job vacancies from Jobstreet.
Not many attracts me.
Senses giving red lights to go for it.
When will it be green lights?
Looking forward, anxiously.

finally~~

Was rather hectic due to loads of assignements to be done lately, plus the coming test next week. However, we managed to go for a short supper with few of our friends+seniors. I enjoyed the supper just now as it's the first time I've been to this shop specialised in selling fishball and fish noodle. It was such a superb and yummy supper... I'd like to thank Stephen senior for bringing us there..^^

Yesterday was the final of the inter-college basketball tournament. Our hostel had successfully won the champion after few consecutive days competing with other hostels. They finally managed to grab the first placing!! I was so ecstatic as it is the first time First Residential College's female basketaball team had gotten champion!
For the last few days, a bunch of our collegemates were the full-time supporters for the competition. I had followed the match for three days berturut-turut. All of the match were so impressive and proven to other colleges than First College has the abilities and expertise in this field.

I was so touched when they competed in the finals and fought so hard until the end to win the title. They had shown me the sportsmanship and never-give-up spirit. This is because the opponents were few years' champion in the past. They are very strong and experience players compared to ours. It was a really meaningful journey to our players...
Thank God for blessing our team. ^^

.:dilemma:.

Have you ever bumped into such situation?

You wanted to give a lending hand (money/donation) but you were pulled back by one or some of your friends.

The reason givenTHEY can actually survive if they find a proper job: no point asking and begging for food/money by the roadside.
This is a circumstance when they can rely themselves on their pair of hands and legs.

Question arises: How about the persons without hands and legs? How would we react upon seeing the handicapped begging us for some money? What about the elderly or kids?

I always have some queries regarding this. What to do? I'm in a dilemma.

I pity them. Regardless which beggars are approaching me. I wanted to help.

But the people surrounding me always discourage me from doing so.
No one wishes me to donate.

It was a splendid Valentine’s with Raymond.
First of all, our valentine celebration came unplanned. Everything went on unpredicted except to Ulu Yam.

The reason for not having any special meal at restaurants/cafes because it will cost him a bomb just for a single couple meal, which we had experienced last year at Itallianies. Thus, we do not want to waste so much money for food.

On 214, we went to Ulu Yam lake in the noontime. I came to know this place went I searched through the Net for some interesting places within Selangor.
We stopped the car by the lake, we sat under coconut trees and we ate some snacks and chatted for almost an hour. It was a nice scenery although it was quite hot that time. You will never realized that the lake was actually a water reservoir for the residents in Klang Valley. It is located about 30 minutes’ drive from KL city.

Then, we headed to the Ulu Yam’s town and searched for Lor Mee, which is a very famous food in the area. Finally, we happened to see a signboard with it written. So, we had our lunch there.

After that, I thought we will just head back to PJ. But little did I expect that Raymond will ask if we move on to Genting, just for a casual stroll at the cooling highland. The reason is that, it just took us almost 16 km to reach Genting from Ulu Yam.
So, why not? He said.
I replied, “but I’m wearing a singlet.”
I hesitated.
But I did not reject. Then, we followed the signboard and drove all the way up the hill to the Skyway – cable car. Such an adventurous outing..~

It was an incredible journey, as we were unsure if a Kancil could go up on a hilly road.
And there we were, at the Skyway. We bought the tics and hopped into the cable car. We reached Genting at around 4pm. We shopped and captured some photos before we went back around 6pm! LoL

After that, I asked him where shall we have our dinner. I never thought of anywhere to go. He suggested we go for a steamboat feast at Sunway. We reached the restaurant at around 8pm due to heavy traffic congestion, and we had to queue for another hour. As there were simply too many people waiting for their turn.

Finally, we finished our dinner at 11pm and there it was, our second Valentine’s Day.
And, Raymond got me a pair of pig-skin lining shoe with colourful cartoons imprinted and sewn on it! It was a unique one...~

Thanks Raymond for everything, for being with me almost 2 years....

~ LOVE is a wonderful thing!

F.R.I.E.N.D.S - the colours of my Uni life..

Event: Chinese Community Annual Dinner 2009, First Residential College, UM
Location: PJ SS2, Tai Thong
Time: 7.30pm - 11.00pm

Yesterday's dinner marked the advanced full stop of our lives in Uni for 3-4 years of time.
Some course need 4 years' duration while us, such as Business Ad only requires 3 years' time to graduate.

It was a night full of sentimental feelings especially for us, who will be leaving Uni in just a glimpse. No other words could better describe our feelings besides - SAD. I just can't bear to part...

When it almost reached the end of our dinner, a video which concluded all the activities, trips and hanging-out photos for the last 3 years we stayed in this hostel was being played.. As the video went on, my tears came rolling down the cheeks and I was unable to control my emotions.
It was like a sudden flashback. My mind couldn't stop thinking about the past.

Years of friendship that builds up in this little hostel. The bond is so strong; we see each other almost everyday; we join activities and share ups and downs; we go for trips together; we are like a family. They're all so dearest to me.

This is not just a hostel. This is my second home.
The place that teaches me a lot; the meaning of life.
Truly, friends are gems that could not be replace by anything else.

Trip to Taiwan
Travelling, holidaying or backpacking has now become a trend for most of the teens and working adults. The ultimate motives are to relax ourselves from the hustle-bustle of the congested town and also as a chance to experience different cultures of each place.

For me, this time around I travelled back to Taiwan again. Why again? I went there in 2006. And I chosed to be back there because my aunt was willing to bring us there once again. Once again to taste and experience the changing environment of the country after 3 years’ time.

To be true, I have vivid memories of most of the things and places I’ve went in Taiwan 3 years ago. My sis was like: urgh.. how can you forget those things? Air tics cost a bomb! LoL. That was roughly the way she exclaimed that time.

I love this country!!!
You will never know by looking at the photos until you really went and stay for a couple of days. Understand the culture, understand their morality and get to know how the country’s administration. I simply rate it as excellent, except for their politics.

Well, as a 23-year-old lady, back again in a familiar place, but I’ve brought back different opinions and perceptions regarding this country. I was not only enjoying their scenic views, but I acted as a person who would like to get to know more unobvious things about it.

I saw that it has really organized system. You will not see any dustbin by the roadsides with full of trash, without proper handling. NO NO NO. I don’t see any. In fact, they have systematically organized the way the residents throw their daily rubbish. I stayed at a flat in Tam Shui, Taipei. They will surely have announcement throughout the whole building as to inform them that its time to throw. No such thing as to throw whenever as you like. After throwing, they will sort out the recyclable items before the unused ones were sent to the dumps. The purpose is to ensure the locals to have a clean living place.

Moreover, I know environmental-friendly campaign is so widely organized and in own country, I have yet to see a very positive change. I know we are improving. I’m sure we can. But, Taiwan has now proceeding and transforming so fast that I, myself impress very much. One day, I and my sis went to a local chainstore, 7-eleven to buy some food. Well, after we had paid the money, the cashier asked if we need a plastic bag to carry the things. And so, we agreed. As we reached home, we glanced at the receipt, they charged us around few bucks in NT$ = RMcents. Without hesitation, I was thinking that only this store charged for the bag.

The next day, we went to a different shop. Once again, the same question about plastic bag popped up by the cashier. Once again, we bought the bag. This is a lesson. We should bring our own bag next time we wanna buy things. This is a knowledge and the lesson we ought to learn from others especially in overseas. Resources are now so limited and humans have to start planning for the future generations.

In addition, besides the concrete elements, there’s another story I’d like to share which I really find it so contrasting between people overseas and in our own country. How many THANKS you have blurted out from your mouth whenever you’re in public areas? Taiwanese have taught me a very nice lesson again. They are never that petty in offering gratitudes to others/strangers. For example, there was couple of times when we took public buses to an area. Although the people was silent while they’re in the bus, but it is actually a very warmth silence. WHY? Their passengers would definitely said a “XIE XIE = Thank You” when they alight from the bus. Why don’t we have this tradition? They deserve our compliments. And I think I should follow this good example of them. No such thing as shy. Wherever I go, I always hear this word coming out from their mouths. Isn’t it very warm?

These are some of the meaningful stories I’d like to tell despite just mentioning the nice places and spectacular photos I’ve taken. The photos will tell the other parts of the trip.. ^^

Splendid journey.. Meaningful lessons..
