In Malaysia, education comes very easily to our daily life. It is something so common that nowadays, up to 80% of us have educational background up to SPM level and majority have at least a Diploma cert. Yes, it has become something being easily grabbed for. In pursuing education, many take things for granted. I do admit that most of us never ponder how blessed we are in seeking education as a means for a brighter future.

Some are less fortunate. Some staying in rural areas and from faraway land are the ones whom we can see grateful and appreciative spirits in them. I got to know some friends while in this Scicom Academy. Yes, truly, all of us are from diverse backgrounds. My dad granted me a car so as to meet convenience in this hectic city. When I asked an Indian friend, she told me she took a public transport to the college. As I asked further, she is currently staying in Seremban. Yes, it is NOW. Therefore, she travels to and from Seremban EVERYDAY. Wakes up as early as 4.45am and reached home after class around 9-10pm. It is a daily routine.

Another friend. She's from Klang. Yes, travels by public buses daily to the college, where we are currently placed in (Stamford College). My old friend, Zurina. She stays in Subang Jaya. It is similar for here. By bus, too.

I heard a lot more similar stories from many others. Education is important. They are willing to sacrifice time and energy for education. Why can't others? There are many other families who are willing to support their children and have the abilities to let them pursue education. Why aren't they be feeling grateful? Humans. When something is right in front of our eyes, they ignore it. When it is gone or never been there at all, he/she tend to strive hard to obtain it.
