a car
Some people say..
Wow.. owning a car can be so fantastic. Yup, that is indeed.
We can control our own pace, you know, as in counting the time and reaching the place that we are heading to. Without depending on the public transport such as buses for which they have fixed schedule. Every 15 minutes once~ or somehow it can be tremendously longer than expected. (That's a Malaysian way)
But somehow, just a day owning the car by myself does not make me feel ecstatic. No no no.. I didn't say I'm not grateful for being given a new car to drive. I do really appreciate parents' efforts. They want me to feel the convenience. And, yes, I greatly feel it.
On the other hand, having a car means we tend to pay extra attention to it. I will keep a lookout for its safety condition, the place I've parked it; whether it is protected, the car's cleanliness or perhaps, I will be extra protective about it when I'm driving. Furthermore, parents will be calling more often to ask about my condition, whether I've reached somewhere safely. I think that makes them feel extra worried. (SF & SN also feel worried for me- for which their smses came in when I drove to KL)
Everything will start to change a little bit. Life is no longer the same.
I promise I'll drive cautiously and hence, hopefully the car doesn't bring much problem to me, too.
