It was only hours ago (equivalent to yesterday night) when I was thinking...
Why hostel admin havent do it yet?
Isnt it in this semester?
The sudden flash of the time when we were in the fire evacuation drill reminds me that the hostel havent do the evacuation drill practice this semester, particularly near exam period.

Neither did I realise that in the wee hour (3.15am) all of us, the collegemates were awaken by a long, wining siren. I doubt anyone still can sleep like a pig.
Floor rep knocked on our doors and woke us up, telling us to move to the court to gather with all of them - male & female.
It is the fire drill which I was thinking of. It DID happen! It WAS happening, just as I thought earlier. (scary 6th sense, isn't it?)
So, I managed to change into long pants but with the a bit slacked-tee and gone down to assemble.
Awry feeling. Coz all of us were in the midst of sleeping mood. Some hardly can open their eyes.
With all the searching process (to identify who came down and who ignored the siren and continued sleeping but was caught by the admin and forced to assemble with us) and with the demo of how to use the fire extinguishers.. It all ended at 5am!
Pity those who're going to have the test a few hours later.
In fact, I only managed to wake up at 8.50 this morning compared to frequent ones at 7 sumting.

We are aware that the purpose of this is as a form of practice in case we're met which the real fire incident. But, I'm disappointed because they took 1 hour & 45 mins to settle everything which is much longer than previous!!!
I might have gotten angrier if I'm having test few hours later.
It's affecting our mental energy, isn't it?
Ought to do it efficiently...

Despite the recent reduction in fuel prices, the global economic downfall seems to bring huge impacts on many people on the globe.

I seldom blog about food. Well, this time is exceptional. I'd like to brag and praised about this authentic, Vietnamese cuisine.
Wow.. I tell you. It's simply too tasty beyond words could describe.
No.. No.. I'm not exaggerating here. Believe me!

Phew.. I'm finally back from Segamat after 3 days relaxing at Raymond's house.
His parents noticed I'm getting thinner and encouraged me to eat more. Am I really that thin? Hehe.. I will try to eat more then...~
Last Thursday and Friday were days full of surprising and unexpected news.
It's because of 2 matters..
Firstly..
I wanna announce that our chinese dance got champion during UM ko-k day! It's the first time ever we're listed Number 1 since its existence for years.
We finally manage to beat Tamil dance, which were champion for years back. So happie!!!

Yahoooooo..... And, we got an extremely large hamper. It's not large in size but it's really a heavy one! Full of assorted biscuits, snacks and beverages! And we can see our teacher smiling all the way. But he's funny. He dont wish others to see his true colours. Thus, he tried to hide his happy expression.
Thanks SIR.. for being there with us all the 14 weeks and it was all worth it!

Second, that Thursday afternoon, my coursemate a.k.a collegemate smsed me and asked me to go over to her room as there's a gift from a surprising someone.
I was figuring and wondering for a while.. guessing who was that 'someone'. Then, without wasting time, I went over.
They were reluctant to let me know at first. Wanting me to guess who was that. Deliberately making it confusing by adding that it's my birthday gift.
With all the hints such as he's a guy, wearing specs, who's quite close to me only during this semester, and he's in adulthood.
Oh gosh. How to guess correctly right? COz i'm known for my dumbness in guessing IQ question.
So, they finally told me, this box of ferrero rocher (which i've opened it before i took the pic) was from my lecturer.


My first thought silently in my mind was.. "Huh? For my birthday gift from a secret admirer?" Haha. Am I too silly?
Well, the main motive is a way of encouragement and reward for me as I was chosen as the best speaker in my August presentation for Business Ethics subject. Not only me. But there's another 6 people got chosen.
I was so delighted and felt in the air.
Within such inital short time, I was rewarded with all kinds of nice snacks. ^^

This week has been a hectic one for me.
Besides being so busy with 4 presentations and 1 test, I had a performance, too.

For Monday and Tuesday, settled 3 presentations at one go.
Then, completed a test on Wednesday morning.
Eventually, proceeded by Chinese dance performance on Thursday afternoon.
Each day went by in just a blink.
This is the final week of our semester before we get into exams dilemma after 1 and a half weeks after this.

The Chinese dance is a part of our ko-k subject.
In UM, each of us who reaches final year needs to take a ko-k subject. Thus, we roommates decided to go for Chinese dance. There are also others such as karate, silat, guitar, yoga, taekwondo etc…
I’m glad that we finally had completed this subject after 14 weeks of training, 2 hours weekly. And, to perform on stage at our UM's Dewan Tunku Canselor...
It’s actually a bit embarrassing to show you guys what costume we’re wearing. In fact, it somehow leads us to think that we’re more like those Chinese servants…LoL
Nevertheless, it is an unforgettable experience indeed.

Well, thus i've come up with this sorta simpler idea of arrangement..
It took me 3 hours plus to finish up.. Hopefully, it's not that bad after all..

Do you agree with the statement?

It's a very special gathering today, with shan na and soofei. Two of my greates buddies.

This afternoon wasnt exactly too tiring.. but, after doing all the tidying up reminds me of my child and teenhood days. Me and my sis had eventually decided to tidy up our things in the house. We spent equal time on each corner of the house, but shy to say this. We spent a bit more in our bedroom. Although it's just a tiny room, but do not look down on it. It's the most complete and comfy room I've ever had~ We'd been staying at this house for ages. Since I was in primary, we've moved to this double storey house together wif granny. Before this, we accommodated just right at behind of our current house, which is the factory a.k.a shophouse. To summarise, we've been staying in Berlian garden for soooooo long. The most accurate is to say ever since the day I was borned.~
To narrow down a little bit, wat's so memorable? It's because of this box of watches. I guess who came to my bedroom will see it for sure. What's so special about it?
Well, this box contains a lot of colourful watches which me and my sis collected them since we were kids.
Everytime I wipe this wooden box, it always make me think of the past and how each watch came by. How long we've been wearing them etc. Some are from our aunt and granduncles who brought from overseas and some gifts from friends. To be truthful, 80% of them are gifts form others. Feeling heavy to throw them away, so we planned to
keep them as we grow up. All types of colours.. all kinds of designs and patterns. They represent the wonderful days we had.
It's because of this box of watches. I guess who came to my bedroom will see it for sure. What's so special about it? Well, this box contains a lot of colourful watches which me and my sis collected them since we were kids.

Besides that, there's one more item which I've kept it since form1. It is very precious to me all this while. I mean.. until now. Everytime I'm back to this room, it's always there at the same position. Even though it's a bit dirty and old, as it had been left untouched all these years, but I still treat it as dearly as it should be.

Dadada.. It's the Pooh bear. It's my birthday present during form1. There were the times when I just entered secondary and got to know SN and QH, these two cute gals from Chinese primary schools. We were close and they knew I love Pooh, that's why there's one for me that year. I never forgotten that at all. Wonder why. Some of the memories vanished just like thin air. But, these few strong and unforgetful memories will never leave me until I die. They are to serve me and make me happy whenever I see them.

Wednesday
Selamat Hari Raya to all Malay friends...!
It's a great feeling after all. Because mum and dad get this chance to stay at home and rest as much as they can!
This time bek at home. It don't seem any indifferent to me. Its still the same as usual.
- Dad still busy with his own homework a.k.a factory's work and sometimes doing his own revision.
- Mum still the same. Eating, watching TV and reading newspapers as a way to relax herself.
- Granny is so busy with cooking for our daily meal and sews her own clothes.
The only thing that is dissimilar is that; age does not stay constant.

In the morning, watched -Money No Enough II- with mum and sis. Many had recommended me regarding this Singaporean movie. In the past, I would choose not to watch this kind of movie because dad used to say no essence and lessons learnt besides laughter all the way until it ends.
However, this time, seriously many of my friends either in college or hometown also mentioned about it as it not only features real stories in life but also depicts meaningful morality of human beings. Thus, I bought it at Lim Music on Monday, and watched it with mum this morning. I cried a little bit as I feel shy to cry like a baby in front of mum - so embarassing..
If you havent watch, it's an optional movie to choose from if you intend to watch one but have no idea which to pick.

Tuesday
Basically, I did nothing much on this day. In the second half of the day, I went for a facial wash and even dozed off when there's the time when they put on the mask on my face and off the lights to let me rest. That was quite embarassing but I acknowledge it as a way to sooth my mind.

Monday
Met up with JT on Monday. We're still the same as usual. We chatted a lot more than expected. We went to the new cafe opposite K-Parade and gossipped a lot. As we grew up, the mindset will change. We tend to think and gear more out of it. The stuffs we chatted also become more matured.
