flashing back to 13th of January...
I attended a class on Tuesday, which the subject is called Communication for Employment Purposes. From this, we can roughly know that this subject teaches us how to smoothly search for jobs and which qualification comes more important than other criteria. So, basically the lecturer taught us about self-assessment. This is to identify what personal attributes we have as in self-evaluation or better known as self-discovery. It is a fun subject, though. The topic needs us to find out our values, interests and goals etc. They are relevant in seeking for suitable jobs in future. Somehow, that still has not answer some questions about myself. I still have doubts as to what kind of individual I am. Here are some of the questions brought into discussion earlier; i) What strengths do you have? ii) What do you expect to be in 10 years’ time? iii) Which areas do you think you need improvement? iv) Which field do you seek in jobs? (indoor, outdoor, service, office) There are a lot more. I’m sure most of us are unsure which direction we truly wanna be in future. And I am sure the field we desire sometimes does not really be it in the future. Well, as for me, I’m in a blurry situation where I still do not know what I want. So saddening, isn’t it? I guess there is a need that I should do more self-evaluation to realize which job suits me the most. If I’m given a chance, I would rather continue to study or perhaps go overseas and explore new stuffs rather than to stick to the permanent job after graduation. |
