♥Do you agree with this statement?♥The longer you have been accommodating in a certain environment, The more you are transforming and amending yourself to become one of it. This is not the so-called peer pressure. This is just social factor. The only reason that appears is that, you wanted to have the same alignment to the topics they are talking about. You wanted to be the apple of their eyes. You wanted to share and exchange the same infos. You do not wish to be left out. These few weeks of training, when I was having lunch wif colleagues. I feel as if Im more into their lifestyles. Not the way they spend extravagantly. Not their attitudes. Not the way they dressed up. It’s the topics they’re talking about. They tend to talk more on much matured topics. Such as the skyrocketing prices of petrol, the elements and addictives of the petrol, different types of vehicles’ quality, religions and practices, careers, children or money, AND lots more. Each of them has very strong viewpoints on each of the matters. It is rather very contrasting compared to students’ chats. You will tend to gain extra general knowledge just listening to them. It is okay if you’re not voicing out. But it doesn’t makes you a dumbo. You’ll realize that you gain more than usual. These are my real life experiences. They are all adults. That is why I found out I’m gaining more. Dad once told me. It’s true you know u’re absorbing new things. But never ever absord the ones which you think are unhealthy. =) |
